7 March 2018, Bangkok Thailand – Daimler Commercial Vehicles (Thailand) Ltd. (DCVT) officially hits first milestone of 2018 by handing over 40 vehicles of FZ 4928TT as part of a major fleet deal to Ratchasima Decs, an FMCG logistics company and one part of Sila Transportation Service Co., Ltd. Thaiyont Truck and Trailer, one of DCVT’s FUSO truck dealer was able to secure the deal in December of last year. The first batch of 20 vehicles were delivered in mid February with the second batch to follow in March.
Executives presiding over this auspicious handover ceremony at the Sila Transportation Service warehouse included Mr. Siripong Gangsurakarn, Managing Director, of Sila Transportation Service Co., Ltd, Mr. Sascha Ricanek, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand Ltd (DCVT), and Mr. Kasemvut Srithanyarat, CEO of Thaiyont Truck and Trailer Co., Ltd.
Sila Transportation Service which is headquartered in Nakhonratchsima will be operating the FZs to and from their distribution centers situated in the major cities across the country. Main customers are top FMCG brands who have agreed to use the new FUSOs as the presence of DCVT in Thailand has strengthen their confidence in the Fuso brand.
Thaiyont Truck and Trailer has over 30-years of experience in Thailand’s commercial vehicle business and is based in Surin province.
