Bangkok, 5 May, 2021 - Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand Ltd (DCVT) plans to continue building its dealer network across Thailand during 2021, with improved product, aftersales service and marketing to drive customer satisfaction.
Plans include increased brand visibility in Thailand with more engagement between Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles and FUSO customers via the launch of new communications platforms DCVT intends to launch in the third quarter. These will also be used to support Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles and FUSO customer activities and promotions in each respective province around the country.
"DCVT's main strategies have been customer centric and dealer partnership focused since the beginning of 2021. It is a collaborate effort with our dealer network that enhances the level of service and leads to increase customer engagement in Thailand," Mr. Stefano Giordani, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand, said. "The changing needs of customer service as allowed DCVT to be more adaptable and concentrate on higher levels of cooperation with Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle and Fuso dealers, both online and offline.
“Although there was a slight improvement in late of 2020, overall the 2021 economic outlook remains challenging. To cope with the fluid business landscape, we are principally focus on product development and aftersales services for the near term," he added.
DCVT will also focus on genuine FUSO parts price competitiveness, and spare parts service level improvement. This will make it easier for customers to find genuine FUSO parts in Thailand, particularly for the core FI, FJ and FZ models.
Improved FUSO aftersales services include an extended four-year or 200,000 kilometre warranty (whichever comes first) that also covers the transmission and electrical systems. It is currently available on some popular models including the FJ2528RMC, can be applied within the quarter 3 the vehicle was produced during model year 2021.
