Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand (DCVT) recently held its dealer convention from 9 to 10 January under the concept '2020 Moving Forward Together” with all 14 authorized Fuso and Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles dealers in Thailand joining the event.
Topics of discussion included dealer profitability, teamwork, network development and service excellence, with DCVT continuing to definitely provide dealers with the right tools to compete in Thailand's truck and bus market. The event also allowed new DCVT CEO, Mr. Stefano Giordani, to answer some of their questions from his first few months on the job.
Mr. Giordani told the gathering, "DCVT and its dealer network will work together as a family with common priorities as DCVT will always listen to our dealers when planning future strategies. This will help ensure a sustainable and profitable system for both DCVT and dealers.”
“DCVT is committed and will continue to serve the commercial vehicles market with our two brands under the Daimler Truck umbrella. Fuso products offer proven reliability and durability, which translates into high payload and uptime for our customers. The buses from Mercedes-Benz provide maximum profitability, and unparalleled level of safety, high comfort and innovative technologies," Mr. Giordani added.
Mr. Giordani and the management team plan to keep up the momentum in the near term by visiting dealers at their showroom during a follow up 'DCVT on the Road' event in the coming weeks kicking off in Thailand's southern region.
